The Blind Brain

Author: Renato De La Rosa, MD

The eyeballs are not part of the brain. The brain is blind.

The eyeballs are not part of the brain. They only act like light and image receptors for the brain. The brain itself is blind.  The brain produces emotions but could not feel. The brain is numb. You could even stab the brain and it would not feel it.

The brain is enclosed in a dark dungeon called the skull. The brain has never seen the world and yet you let it run your life. Inside the skull, it only processes, interprets and reacts “blindly” to information. Many thoughts are mistakes.  A lot of times we suffer more from imagination than reality, more from beliefs than the truth.

“The brain is blind.”
