When I meditate, I disconnect my brain from the environment, environment that gives repeatedly threatening signals, real or imaginative, against my survival.
Then, I just deal with my inner thoughts. Observing them, come and go, come and go, and not engaging them until they all disappear… and then there is silence. There is peace.
